Photography Question

Photo of the Day Background? How to?

Hi folks,

Does anyone know the steps involved in creating the background / frame that you see in the photo of the day? How do I do this in Photoshop? Is there an action on here that can be downloaded?

Thanks in advance for your assistance!

Brendon

If you are worried about adding the border before you upload, don't be...the upload will do that for you. If you are just interested in adding a border on your own, I just created this action that will do it for you...Download it here:

White Frame and Drop Shadow

You can really open the action to see how the steps work -- actions can be a great learning tool.

Thanks Richard. Much appreciated! What settings do you use for the drop shadow in order to get the look found on the betterphoto.com images?

Thanks again for the help!

  Brendon,
If you download that action and give it a load into your Photoshop Actions, you can open it up and look at exactly what settings I used.

OK?

Richard
