Hi Kathy,

when is "sometimes"? Could that be indoors with artificial light(s) and slow shutterspeeds? In that case it could be a matter of your White Balance needing adjusting (to tungsten or tube lighting).

It is always inside that I get the yellow tint,so do I need a faster shutterspeed??

Yes.
If a faster shutterspeed underexposes your subject, add flash.

And if you don't want to use flash adjust your White Balance (to tungsten or tube lighting).
