How to shoot pictures of the moon

I have a Nikon D40 with a 55 - 200mm lens. What settings do I need to set the camera on to take pictures of the moon?

Here are some guidelines for exposures: http://home.hiwaay.net/~krcool/Astro/moon/howtophoto/index.htm.
The basics are
(a) use a tripod and remote release (or the countdown timer)
(b) set exposure manually since the large area of black sky around the moon will fool autoexposure into overexposure.
(c) for best sharpness, set middle range aperture like f/8-f/11 rather than wide open.
(d) Unless it is a very high quality multicoated model (and even if it is), a "protective" UV filter can lead to mirror reflections of moon. I'd use the lens without filter, and use just the lens hood for protection.
(e) if it is cold where you are, keep the camera battery warm. Use 2 - one in the pocket warm and the other in the camera - and swap them occasionally. When returning back into the warm air and higher humidity indoors, take precautions against fogging/condensation on the lens and camera. Put them in small bag while out in the cold, bring them in and let them warm up to room temperature before taking the camera out again.

Use the same settings as you would of taking a photo outdoors on a sunny day.
