how do you use a T-mount adapter. The adapter is screww threads on one side and mounts to the camera on the other. Nikon, Minolta, etc.

  Hi James,
It sounds like you have the basic plan. You buy a T-mount lens, mostly just mirror lenses and microscope and telescope adapters at this point. Then you screw on the adapter to your lens. The adapter will allow it to mount to the camera. The problem with these things, there is always a problem, is that they only work manual, so no auto diaphragm or auto focus. If you’re looking for something to use a T-mount on there is a microscope club here at BetterPhoto. Please join!
Thanks, John Siskin
