Photography Question

Karen Orr

Do you have a camera to donate?

BetterPhoto.com is teaming up with Big Brothers Big Sisters to help young photographers learn about photography. Our new program, BetterPhotoMentor, will help kids become inspired and learn about photography. Big Brothers Big Sisters will match our program with creative, responsible teens and their mentors.

We are asking you, our generous BetterPhoto Members, to donate your unneeded or outgrown digital cameras. Share your love of photography with a young, budding photographer today! BetterPhotoMentor promises to be a rewarding partnership for everyone involved. If you are in a position to donate your gear - we'll take anything digital that is in good working condition.

Our goal for the first class is five more cameras. Help us help kids today! Please mail your donations directly to:

  Nice idea.
Maybe not something they would like, you know with kids and the internet fear, but also have whoever joins your mentor program can also register here and have a bb&bg question/answer section.
That way they get the help from whoever your mentors are, and they can also ask stuff whenever something comes to them without waiting for the next class/meeting.
