Interior Lighting

Hi there, I am looking for a wide angle lens for my pentax k10 DSLR and have found that many of the choices declare it cannot be used with built in flash. I am going to be shooting interior home shooting for vacation rental companies and I need to figure out my lighting situation. Should I get some kind of light with an umbrella and buy a hot shoe flash. The there will be temperature variances causing disturbances in the picture. I imagine this is fixable in photoshop. Is it hard? I thought there was a hot shoe flash that could detach form the camera and move around the room on a tripod but I guess I am wrong. I need some serious suggestions in figuring out how to set-up my lighting situation. Please help me out with some different options. Thanks a lot

If you're simply shooting the room decor without people in the scene, the easiest solution is to simply use the actual room lighting and mount the camera on a tripod since the longish shutter speeds cannot be handheld. The color temperature of the ambient lighting is handled with the K10D's white balance control.
