Sizing for uplaod I would like to see how to "batch and resize" some of my images for uploadong instead of doing them one at a time.... I have tried to do action and tried to batch but with no success...operation ignorance I assume..... any clear, consice, and step by step pointers would be appreciated...Daryl Thanks ahead of time for any help should there be some...

For one thing, you could use Picasa2 and select the pictures you want, then click the "export" button and set "maximum" under image quality, and then choose the pixel size that result in the short end of the photos being 480px (around 725px, it could be different for different proportioned photos). Helicon Filter also has a batch edit mode which you can use for mass editing and exporting, and you can also have the photos sharpened before downsizing if you want.

With Apple's iPhoto it's exacly he same: select the photos to be resized, select 'Export', and set your parameters. With Photo Mechanic on The Mac it's slightly different: select the photos to be resized, then select "Save As...", and set your parameters.
