posing ideas Hi! tomorrow evening I am photographing a 14 month old little girl all of the photos will be outside probaly in a park. any ideas for poses for this little one? Thanks Valerie

take candid pics of her playing in a pile of leaves or smelling a flower...the more natural the 'sitting' the sweeter the photo. At this age- you need to find the spot and have Mom help by distracting her, she'll smile & talk to mom- snap like crazy... you'll get the right shots. You have to be quick at this age.

Keep her back towards the sun to prevent her squinting. Use fill-flash and/or a reflector to open up heavy shadows. Pose her with an animal: a dog, a cat, or a rabbit.

Get your camera down to her eyelevel. Bend your knees if you have to. Your photos will be that much more intimate.

W.Smith, gave you the BEST advise! eye level is Soo very important in Portrait photography! People tendnot to pay enough attention to this,especialy when shoting kids & pets. I know it can be hard, but any job can be. when your subject in (studio or out) is at a low level, so must be your lens and light source. best of luck, Debby Tabb
