Monitor Calibrating

I am looking for a good and not too expensive monitor calibrating system to calibrate my LCD monitor. I read a couple of reviews about ColorVision Spyder2Pro Studio monitor calibrator. How does it compare with other calibrating systems? Can anyone help?

I use Spyder 2 by Color Vision. it does a good job. What I see on my monitor is pretty much what I see on the print.

Thank you Don. Other opinions which I found on BP on the same topic were very similar to yours. It must be good equipment than. I have been a little bit surprise that all the reviews of Spyder2Pro Studio which I found on the internet were from three years ago and I thought may be there is already something newer there. All the equipment seems to be changing so fast and becoming obsolete. So thank you once again for your kind response.

Hi Stan. I tried the Huey Pro (their newest) and had trouble with there being a heavy red cast after calibration. After speaking to customer support, they believe it was due to the glossy LCD screen. They were working on resolving the issue at the time so it may no longer be a concern...but just something to watch for if your screen is glossy. I will be purchasing the Spyder2Pro shortly. If you get one, let me know how you like it.

Pick up the Spyder2Pro,great hardware/software program.
This is what I wrote in another thread:

I have Spyder2Pro color management system and it works the way it suppose to work, my prints that come out on my Epson R2400 is what I see on screen. Just remember with any color management system you calibrate your monitor with, your screen will be more brighter than your print media, keep this in mind your monitor projects light and you print media reflex's light. I calibrate every Monday, I do a lot of printing.
