digital cameras i am looking into going digital, but would like to know which professional nikon digital camera would be a good starter for shooting weddings and senior portraits. I am not very familiar with digital...i've always been film based, so if you could help me out...that would be great! thanks andrea

When I decided to make the switch to digital the D70s was on the market,which I decided to buy.However the D80 was soon on its way! The D80 is still being sold,along with the D40. The higher end D200,I consider is for the more professional photojournalist or photographer. What you decide to budget for your upgrade will have a definite decision on which camera you buy. In a nutshell that should cover the Nikon cameras! The following photos were taken with my D70s

thanks for replying! I definatly want to stay in the 500-800 dollar range. Are the D70's and 80's pretty easy to use? andrea
