Is any one familiar with photo stock agencies like shutterstock. I want to submit pictures their but am not sure if they are trust worthy. Also on their website it says that if you make over $400 dollars you have to submit a W9 from the IRS, is anyone one familiar with this??

  Hi Jessica,

Yes, Shutterstock is very trustworthy...I have been getting paid from them since 2005.

I treat my microstock income like a business, so the W9 is no biggie. But you don't have to worry about it until you DO make over $400... which would be a good thing!

The money I make from microstock is a true and good thing... and since I have long term goals and a long term perspective of this industry... I have set it up business like from the getgo and would encourage you to do the same.

I have earned $11,490 so far and counting from only ~280 photos...

Submit Photos to Shutterstock and make $$$!

Carolina
