Photography Question

Celeste McWilliams

Digital ISO Settings vs. Film ISO Settings

When shooting with film, I know that 200 film is much more sharp and less grainy than 800 speed. Does this also hold true on digital camera film speed settings? Will digital photos shot at 200 ISO be better quality [less grainy, etc] than ones shot at 800 ISO?

Yeah, it's called noise. Think it comes from making the iso higher what you actually do is amplify the gain on the signal in the chip.
