Intl Library of photography My question is does anyone know of anybody that has recieved a winners check or for that matter a royalty check which they make so sure to let you know about ( any monies at all back from this company ) ? Thanks

That is not a good book to order, because it isn't real. I may have heard some stories where people actually got the book or where someone actually got a small sum of money, but it is nothing like they claim.

the book is how they make the $$$ what they do is, ... say they recieve 100,000 photos per year, they tell every entrant they won, buy the book now.. ony 100 ppl buy it, thats not enough to fill a big book so the wait and wait and wait for more to buy.. thus, why it takes soo long to get your book.. once they have enough ppl to make the book, they will send it out, could take up to a year though.. yoll get it some time, might be now, might be later..alot later.

Thanks for your replies ....thus so far I have recieved my little plaque waiting for crystal award Ok so wait a year but has anybody gotten royalty payments as they claim. If this is a complete scam then why are they allowed to operate?

What law says you can't make a website with semi-false claims? They should be sued out of their scam.

This company is a huge scam, when I first started entering contests of course this company was one I entered, fortunately I never did order a book because if someone wants your work they pay you not the other way around. If they ask you for money it's a scam. Check this site out on the Better Business Bureau, I think you'll find that many people have complained on them and that even though they do offer a serice of some kind which keeps them from being closed down completely they are in essence crooks, and strech the truth to the limit. If you are contacted by this group ignore them you'll be doing yourself a favor. If you want your work in a book there are several great sites where you can self publish, or even sites where you can make a book for portfolio reasons. But please leave International Libray of Photography alone, the more that participate keep them in business.
