The Annual BetterPhoto Conference I'm a newbie to digital photography and just recently got my first camera a Nikon D80. Would the 3rd Annual BP Conference in September of 07 be too advanced for a newbie like me? Maybe some of you who have attended could give me advice. Thank you, Brenda in Music City USA

I was at the first Summit in 2005 in Seattle. At that time I knew just a bit more than squat... :-) I was overwhelmed by all the information available. I was also inspired! I am really thinking I will go - my birthday is the end of August and I told my husband that would be a GREAT birthday present - I think he reminded me he received hedge trimmers for his birthday. Hello. Just wanted to say that I am going to the conference this year and it is my first time. I am not that experienced as a photographer but in my opinion when it comes to anything the best way to learn is with the people that know and this conference gives you the opportunity to know those people first hand. At least I hope the conference fullfills my expectations.

If you haven't already, be sure to check out the Conference Program ... you'll see that there will be something for everyone - from beginner to advanced, from photography to Photoshop. Bob, thanks for jumping in with the great testimonial and link. Brenda, thanks for bringing up the subject, and Carolyn and Mario, thanks for adding your thoughts. I've been to the first two Summits, and as with all the participants and instructors, was just blown away by the amazing enthusiasm and excitement.
