What is best instruction for CS3

I have finally bit the bullet and purchased CS3 and would appreciate advise on the best manuals or instructional guides for Adobe Photoshop CS3. I have had a little (and I mean little) experience with PS elements 3 and used Rick Sammons Complete guide to digital photography 2.0. Thanks from Emile Abbott

CS3 is not that much different from CS2. Just google "photoshop tutorials" (along with more specific keywords) and you'll get great results. Also check the help files.

But, depending on what you need to do with Photoshop, maybe you could have saved some money and gotten Helicon Filter (which is easy enough so you don't need instructions for it). Oh, well. You now own CS3, a powerful program, so make the most out of it.

  Hi Emile,
Good question! One thing you might consider is an online course - say, Photoshop 101: The Photoshop Essentials Primer. You'll be guided by a well-published pro - Richard Lynch (who has many PS books to his credit). BetterPhoto courses have lots of interaction, plus lessons and assignments. Photoshop 101 will have you up and running - and comfortable - with CS3 in just four weeks!
Thanks,
Kerry
