shooting disneyland at night


I would like some tips for shooting disneyland at night. I am going in Decemnber and want to catch the true lighting of Christmas time, What is the best exposure,what ISO to use with out to much grain as I probably won't have a tripod, What shutter speed for clear nighttime shots. I am taking two camera's (nikon D70s and olympus 550 uz Thanks in advance for the advice Look forward to hearing from you L.J.

  well letitia,your squandering your resources.
you've been here over a year and think you can take nite shots in december without a tripod.
shots will probably be at least 1 sec.handholding won't work.

  Letitia,

There is no better way to answer your question than to say "LOCK & LOAD"..or "Opportunity favors the prepared."

I am sure, where ever you are, you can practice some night shooting prior to your trip to Disney.

You will see differences in white balance and exposure depending on each scene. There are no substitutes for practice. Concerning ISO, the obvious answer is the lowest possible.

I would highly suggest a (small) tripod for night shooting..it will be well worth it.
