CS2 Spot Healing Brush Tool

I'm having trouble figuring out CS2's Spot Healing Brush Tool. I can fix up a spot that is out in the open, but when I try to get in close to small details, I can't match the color. For example, in my bridge shot, I am able to erase the lamp post head to the very right in the image. I was also able to erase most of the lamp post until it hit the cable of the bridge. I made sure that I was zooming right in to the spot, but I couldn't match the cable color to erase it. I tried making the brush very small, but I got more blue instead of white. Any suggestions or instruction would be so helpful! Thanks!

  Hi Lisa,
You may try using the clone tool with "alt/click" on the color you want to duplicate and then release the Alt key and click the area you want to cover.
Zoom in as much as possible to get better results.

Carlton - That worked wonderfully! I'm right in the middle of doing it and it's brilliant! I'll have to re-post my photo on my gallery! I'm so excited to get to work on some other images now! Thanks so much.

Lisa
