Entries in contests I am new to the site and was wondering how often winners are chosen? Also, I use a digital camera and I'm not sure on what to put in the description box when I upload a photo. Thanks

Finalists are chosen once a month, usually around the 21st or a little later with winners following a day or two later. You can put in the description box either your camera settings, a description of what you were thinking when you shot it, or nothing at all. It really doesn't matter. Just look at other people's shots and you will get the hang of it pretty quick. Welcome to BP. It's a great site with a whole lot of very helpful people so don't be afraid to just jump in there and ask questions.
