Indoor wedding flash photography

I have a Canon 30D and a Canon 580EX flash. Can anyone give me advice on settings and the flash for an indoor wedding? Also, outdoor bridal shots. I am just trying to make my photos better, plus I haven't had this camera very long - so I am learning.

You can try http://www.PlanetNeil.com. There are lots of good tips for wedding photography and lightingand http://www.johnlind.tirpod.com/wedding/ has lots of good info on wedding photography in general. I think soon people here will warn against taking on doing weddings unless your very experienced.

I have taken wedding photos (film) for 9 years.I just got the Canon digital in November. I have done a couple of weddings with it. I just want some advice to improve my photos.
