buying photographic equipment in San francisco Next summer I am plannig a three weeks holiday in western USA. I will spend some days in San Francisco and I would like to know where to go to buy photographic equipment. I am looking for canon lenses, for a sigma 12.24 lens and maybe also a canon 5d camera. We essentially have two larger camera stores here. Adolph Gasser in SFO and Keeble and Shucket in Palo Alto. You're not going to find any bargains at either place, new or used. The best place and IMHO the most reputable to buy what you seem to be looking for is Bhphotovideo.com in New York. Besides, if you buy here, you're going to get socked Calif. sales tax on top of pretty much full retail prices. Take it light. Mark
