Replace my Sony F828, Buy a sony DSLR 100K, Or...? My Sony F828 was destroyed in a car accident. I loved this camera and found its picture quality acceptable for my purposes. I use my camera for work, taking studio close ups for selling antiques and antique firearms, in addition to using it as my own personal scenery and people camera. I was considering replacing my camera at about a cost of $450.00. I was also looking at the new DSLR 100 with a sony 18-70mm lens. This camera I can buy new with memory cards and a few minor extras for about $750.00. I have been pleased with Sony in the past. Is the new DSLR 100 user friendly and easy to use? Is it considerably better than the F828 to warrant an additional $300? Is the DSLR 100 agood camera for my purposes and should I be looking at any other options? Thank you

I think I'd check out their new DSC-H9 if I were you. I have a DSC717 so I feel your pain in losing your 828. They just came out with the H7 and H9..I like the H9 for the flip up viewfinder which the H7 doesn't have. They run in the low $400's. Good luck with whatever choice you make.
