Images aren't showing up in recent entries When submitting an image to the contest, is it RANDOMLY added to "recent entries" or is there an extra step involved...because I never see mine there. Who doesn't love more publicity of their photos? Just concerned.

If you upload and submit to the contest at the same time and then check the recent entries almost immediately, you will find your image very near the "front" of the queue. If you upload and then submit later, your image will appear in the queue based on its upload date. You should still be able to find it, but you may have to go way back in the entries. And if you really want to check on something you submitted at a different time than you uploaded it, it's way easier to work your way through the category recent entries list than the entire contest list. They are sorted by number which relates to the date you first uploaded it into your gallery. For example, if you upload to your gallery today and enter into the contest tomorrow, it will show up among today's entries, not tomorrow's. If you want it on today's page, upload a fresh copy when you enter.

Something odd seems to be happening here. I've had a link copied to recent entries, and lately it hasn't been working. (works and works and works and doesn't connect) Now, when I go to search for "recent contest entries," I do get a page, but they seem not to be really "recent" anymore. I don't know. maybe I'm not looking at the same page somehow or something has changed?

I'm going to recent contest entries in search and getting the real page for that. I copy the URL and send it to myself. Then I try to click on that URL and I get a page for Miotke. All this worked before. Don't know.

I would make a new link - you probably have an old one. Go to Contest (in bar at top), drop down and pick Recent Entries. That should work so you can save it. Sounds as if they have something old saved that you are finding through the search option.
