Photo Memory Books

I am looking for a decent website for creation of an inexpensive photo memory book. I've tried both My Publisher and Kodak Gallery. Although their books turned out decent, I wasn't blown away by the photo quality; photos were not too sharp. Am I expecting too much given the pricing? (I had the basic books made, not the more expensive premium-level books.) Can anyone recommend a site that does inexpesive books with better quality than the above-mentioned?

Check out this month's Shutterbug Magazine. There's an article on "books" - the author gives a little advise on creating them. There's a sidebar in which he lists about a dozen sites.

Make sure the images you select are SHARP! And, check out all the requirements of the site relative to size and resolution.

Hi Celeste,

I haven't used it, but Apple also produces photo albums, that you compose yourself in iPhoto.

So I can't compare 'm with others, but if you have access to (someone with) a Mac, you may want to consider:

Have fun!

You might also check out Mpix.com. I've been happy with the photos they've printed for me, and they do sell photo books. I think a 20-page hardcover book is $30 and they have larger books for sale, too. The also have softcover books.
