formating what will not formatting sd cards after many shoots do to picture quality? I just shot a wedding and did not know about formatting after each dump. Once I loaded to my pc I was a bit shocked. The images looked a little rough. Could this be from not formatting

Not formatting will not harm the picture quality. Formatting is just a way to be sure that you got everything off the card the first time. If the images look a little rough, it could be because you used a high ISO.
