Digital back door for nikon SLR camera


I am having nikon F55 analogue SLR camera.
I understand that there is a back door for
analogue camera to convert it in to DIGITAL camera. Please inform me where can
I buy the digital back door for my F55 camera.

I have not heard of a digital back for any 35mm film camera. The do make them for medium and large format cameras. You could always try a Google search.

  I think the digital "back door" is actually referring to one of the quartz date back. I can't remember all it does but I know it displays the date and time and so forth... It is just a little eye candy and not necessary. Some film cameras come with it... Not too sure where you can get them now since Nikon stopped making and supporting much of their film cameras...

  I believe that the Leica R8 & R9 are the only 35mm cameras that have a digital back available (albeit at a steep price - for both body and back).
