How to add color back to B&W

What software, besides photoshop, will let you turn a color image to B&W, then add color back in? For example, turn a wedding photo B&W, then add back in the colors for the bride's bouquet.
Thanks,
Erin

LOTS of photo-editing programs will let you do this effect. The steps you take just may vary some for each program.

In Photoshop, you would convert the image to B&W (several ways to do this), then use the History Brush to "paint" the color of the flowers back in.

I use Microsoft Digital Image Pro. To do this, I would select the flowers using one of the marquee tools, feather the edges, copy & paste the flowers to a new layer, then convert the background layer to B&W.

Any program that lets you select areas of the image to edit, rather than forcing you to apply any edits to the whole image, can be used to do this. If a program doesn't have layers, but has a marquee tool, you can use the tool to select the flowers, then there is usually a way to invert the selection (maybe on the Edit menu). Then you will have everything else selected, so you can convert it to B&W.
