Autofocus won't focus on red color. I'm using an EF 28-135mm(f/3.5-5.6) IS USM Canon zoom lense on a Canon Rebel XTi. In the automatic focus mode, it does not focus properly on red objects (it continually "searches" for the object to focus on). Specific objects include: red tail lights of heavy equipment trailers and all red water hoses. There are no other objects in the fore or background to confuse the lens. I have to use the manual mode in order to take the photo. Is there a reason why it can't focus on red objects? LaNette
