Hi Katie, OK, don't panic. Your cam works. Your card works. And you got the photos, they haven't disappeared. So the prob is outside your cam. Somewhere in between the USB cable (or dock) and the screen. If you HAVE uploaded successfully to that computer (with that USB cable or dock) in the past, it's most likely a software prob on your computer. First thing to try: restart your computer, then try uploading again. See 'm? If that doesn't work, try re-installing the software that came with your cam. Restart PC, and retry. I'm on a Mac, assuming you are on a PC/Windows. So hopefully some more knowledgeable PC/Windows aficionados than I can be will chime in here with some more possible solutions? Other options: use a card reader, or try on another PC. Good luck!

Katie, are you using USB from camera to computer or are you taking the card from the camera and using a card reader? W.S. is very right don't panic, the images are there. here is a type, but I got mine from Luxar. http://cgi.ebay.com/Photo-and-File-Recovery-SD-card-memory-stick-repair_W0QQitemZ250100789741QQihZ015QQcategoryZ18871QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Ok well I tryed all that and it seems that I was tinkering a little to much the other day with my exposers and set my camera to RAW to the computer just didnt see them or something but then the card reader wasnt picking them up either, and so I paniced a little more and broke down and cried my self a little river that filled my house lol, but in the end after my tears of loosing such beautiful pictures that I refused to delete off my camera I went to the local camera store to try and get retreavle softwear only to find out my card reader was the thing not working! So I replaced that and got my pictures and will never ever ever shoot in RAW again!! lol Thanks you all for the help

Oh my I just stumbled across the thread. Don't let this experience spoil you on shooting RAW Katie. Raw really is your best friend. It will give you greater latitude as you grow. I lost all my pictures of Hawaii, very similar experience to yours. They were retrieved by the geek squad at best buy and I thought I would never shoot raw again. But the problem was... raw had nothing to do with my ordeal so I had to get over it. You need to have RAW software to read those files. I'm sure your camera came with it. open that software and view your raw images and then from there you can convert them to tiff or jpeg. BUT don't rule out raw ever! You'll be okay. So glad you got your photos. All is well that ends well

See! You got your photos! Congrats, Katie. But Deborah is right. Don't forgo RAW. The best image quality is derived from RAW. It provides MUCH more dynamic range than e.g. JPG. So shoot JPG when you're 'snapping pix', but shoot RAW when you want 8x10 blow-ups. Carefully edited RAW looks GORGEOUS! Have fun!
