Strobe power out put
I hope this does sound foolish but here it goes.I am working with hot lights but I want to get strobes. I know what 650 watt tungsten light will give me under certain conditions however, I want to get strobes so I need to know how does 300ws watt seconds compare to 650 watt tungsten light (Arri lamp). If I am shooting at f22 for a 15th of a sec with 650 watt hot light, what will a 300ws strobe give me with a shutter speed of 125th of a sec? I'm hoping I will be able to close down to f22 for larger depth of field on some jewelry I have been photographing. Thanks for the help.
