did a get a lemon?


hello, I am a total neby to the world of photografy so please bare with me I have just pourchesed a minolta 300 si on ebay the camra looks very good and all,the fellow who sold me this camera has also included free film with it, after I shot the first roll the pictures have come out graysh and grainy,could you help me please to figure out what the problem might be?could it be that the roll of film was old? or is it a problem with the camera? and also could you advise on the best film to buy for taking bright and nice pics please?   welcome lucia,
yeah,i'd go ahead and shoot a new roll of film.
for all around shooting I like the newer kodak professionl 400uc.
double check your settings and see what happens.
fuji superia 400 ain't bad either,the kodak seems to have just a little better color.

  Yeah, Sam's got it. Just to be sure, try another roll, and I really think the Fuji suggestion is great for color saturation.
