PS Elements loading and unloading
I finally made the quantum jump and bought PS Elements. I can hear the cheers and jeers from here. The problem I have is getting my images into Elements and getting them back out onto a disk so I can get them processed. Anyone know the easy steps way to do both? Also, I do not want to keep my photographs in Elements or any other place on my computer. How in the name of Ansel do I get the images the heck out of my computer? Any replies should be simply stated as I am not the best on the compter. Thank you, "ps"

Since you wrote this in March you've probably found out how to accomplish your goals, but just in case you didn't I thought I'd offer a couple of suggestions. You could take your memory card to Walgreens, Walmart or wherever and get your pictures printed either before or after you load them to your computer. Most places will even sell you a CD with your pictures. For pics you already have on your computer, if you haven't erased your memory card, you can still take it somewhere to have the pictures printed. If you've erased your memory card, you could purchase a thumb drive and copy the photos to the thumb drive and then take it to Walgreens, etc. to have the photos printed. If you have a CD burner, you could burn a CD. I haven't done this very many times, so I can't tell you how to do it. When I want to do that, I just look at the Help section and figure it out from there. Anyway, I hope this helps.

PS, If I understand what you are having a problem with, I may be able to help. You do not "transfer" images to Elements. The images must reside on your hard drive in a folder called 'My Pictures" If you have images on a disk, put the disk into the drive and "Copy" the images into your My Pictures folder. Than go to Elements and "Open" the image, or, if you right click on an image and choose "Choose Program" select Elements 5 and mark the box that says "Always use the selected program to open this kind of file." I hope this helps. Let me know if I can clarify anything. John
