copyright symbol This question sounds dumb, even to me. I know that once you take a photograph, the image belongs to you. I also know one can write the word copyright or the copyright symbol and the year it was taken and your name on the photograph and you establish who the photograph belongs to.(Did I just end a sentence with a preposition?) O.K. Here comes my question. Where on the keyboard is that symbol for copyright? I don't see it and I can't seem to create one from the keys on my keyboard. Maybe if you can answer that question you could tell me how to turn on my camera.

In Microsoft Word the copyright symbol is made by holding down the Alt and Ctrl keys and typing c. In Pagemaker, it can be made by holding down the Alt key and typing G. I found this information by looking for info. on "special characters" in the help sections of these programs.

In virtually any program that allows you to type characters, and in most fonts, you can get the copyright symbol © by holding down the ALT key while typing 0169 (zero one six nine).
