F3

Hi,
I'm considering buying a used Nikon F3 or F3HP, but from the reviews that I've read, the drawbacks about this camera are the they have a slow flash sync speed and that it has an awkward hot shoe.
The more things I read about the F3, the better I can understand what the big deal is or the lack there of, about the flimsy hot shoe.. Maybe a site where I can see it in more detail???
thanks

If you're worried about a flimsy hotshoe, look for the F3p which whilst it has a program mode, it also has a better prism housing with built in hotshoe, more rugged controls, better weather protection, and an even stronger body.
Yes, the F3 sync speed is a poor drawback.
The Mikon site has a section with old model reviews.
Yuo need a faster sync speed? Have you considered the Nikon FA, FE2, FM2, or even the F4? all these Nikons have a 1/250 second top sync.
