I use Photoshop Elements. It allows for the same plug-ins that Photoshop CS2 does, plus there are user forums out there to help and lots of literature at the bookstores. I think 5.0 is around $70. Scott Kelby has some great books. You definitely want to get a book or tutorial on ELements. You won't regret it!
