Photoshop Workflow With regard to modifying images in Photoshop, I've heard several times that you should start with the least destructive changes. Is there a list somewhere that indicates the level of "destruction" that each PS tool has on an image?

Rather than worry about the destructiveness of each action, you might try putting each action into a different layer. That way, you leave the original untouched, so you can change one action without harming the others or the photograph. Just be careful not to save over the original!

Pick up any book on Photoshop or a major photomagazine and an author will provide his/her recommendations on workflow. It really depends on the individual. In general, rotate, straighten and crop first because all other tools then address only the part of the image you'll and print. Check out Rob Sheppard's article in November 2006's Outdoor Photographer.
