Photography Question

Leo Enriquez

When a B&W picture is a real one?...

My question is simple!...When a real picture is B&W?...

When it was shot with a real B&W film?...When It was printed from a color negative?...When it was shot with a B&W C-41 processed film?...

I imagine that a real B&W picture is when it's B&W from the bone, from the root!...I mean: No converted to B&W thru a software program or any other process...What do you think?...

When a freelancer works for any media company, I supose the media asks for real B&W pictures!...Am I wrong?...

It seems to me that it should not make any difference whatsoever, as long as it is a good photo.
