Photography Question

Desiree C. Preckwinkle

Need this piece

I need the piece to hold my reflector to a light stand or any stand by that means. I saw a pic that had it attached to a standard light stand and curious what the piece is called?
Thanks in advance.
Desiree

  A bracket.
http://www.lastolite.com/backgroundsupportsystems.php sells them a.o.

But an assistant is possibly cheaper and provides you with 'remote control' on the reflector!

Depends on which reflector you either have or plan to get. If you're using plain fomecore or gator foam board, then you can get about a 7x7" mounting plate that has an adjustable shaft that mounts into a stand adapter.
Use something like gaffers tape to attach the plate to the panel.

If your reflectors are fabric and set on tubuler frames, you need some kind of stand clamp that will attach the reflector frame on one side of the clamp and the stand on the other, maybe using a Mafer grip clamp.

Seems to me Des, you need a grip equipment catalog from eithers Matthews or Bogen/Manfrotto or Avenger, or Norm's studio equipment in Burbank, CA. (My preference)
Take it light.
