Photography Question

Anyone Else Getting Junk in Guestbook?

Lately in the Guestbook of my BP website I've been getting gobbledygook comments which read like spam (removed six this week). Has anyone else? How is this happening? And is there a solution to block them other than removing the Guestbook entirely?

Enquiring minds want to know ...

Yes, Sam, that's true. But naively I thought since BP changed things to force the poster to enter a random code, that would be the end of the bots (or whatever). Apparently not.

Thanks, John -- I was hoping to avoid shutting it down.

i think bp has it's hands full.
once safeguards are in place,a challenge.
our own resident,who has a great talent,has a choice.so?
I don't think shutting the closet door is the answer.
not naive, just not quite an understanding.
bp I think is doing pretty good.yet other (companies)hire, and pay a great deal to circumvent the rules.won't even be prosecuted in court.can't.
just delete.

When there's been somebody who'd go thru the trouble of bringing up all those 3 year old threads by just putting a period in the response, I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't an auto bot.
