PROBABLY, BUT I, FOR ONE, WON'T, JENNIFER! BECAUSE I DON'T LIKE TO BE SHOUTED AT.

Release the caps lock key on your keyboard to communicate at a more modest 'tone of voice'.

Jennifer~ Please ignore some of the rude comments you may see or receive on this site. We are not all ignorant of common politeness. Now, what exactly did you mean by color selecting? Did you mean selective coloring of a B&W photo?

  Hi Jennifer,
There is a great book by Scott Kelby,
"The Photoshop Elements 4 Book for Digital Photographers" that is really user friendly and will help you learn to do all types of fun things with PSE4.
It cost about $25 on Amazon.com.

Deb,thanks for the book advise. I will purchase it. Michelle, thanks for the encouragement and yes of a B&W. What I would like to do is have a picture of say a bride with only her bouquet in color. Can you help?

First, desaturate the color to the point that you have a B/W image left. Then use the history brush selectively on the bouquet, which will bring back its colors.

If you have an original shot that is in color...
1) copy it in B&W
2) lay the copy on the color version
3) use erase tool to erase the B&W where you want the color to show through

I have a couple examples in my gallery.
