canon giving off red flesh tones

Have you guys found that the canon cameras give off a red hue on skin tones? Suggestions on fixing it???
Like I said I have the 30D. I keep trying to fix this problem in my settings (in the camera) and i'm desiring the 5D but if this is a canon problem then I may switch to Nikon. My associate has a Nikon D2x and her colors are rendered so nicely. Suggestions???????????

  "WB set to flash"
Are you using an electronic flash, or some other lighting?

why not skip picture style? go back to default settings. Make sure you've chosen the right White Balance. The camera should do the right thing. My xti is giving very nice colors...

YES, Canon is well known for red skin. I created a little action in Photoshop for correcting this when it is a tad too much. It's worse on my 5D than it is on my other Canon cameras.

Please don't say that Jerry! I do some work for a local studio...they are teaching me and giving me a chance. But the other photog has a nikon and they are constantely complaining about my photos skin tones are too red and blotchy. SOOOOOOOOOOOOO..... I went to the studio and we took a zillion pics on many different picture settings and the settings within the settings. So we came up with me setting my picture setting on Faithful and uping the color tone to +2 and the skin tone is great and there isn't any blotchiness on the faces. I don't know if this is a good permenant setting or not but atleast it made my fellow photog happy. Any comments on my settings?
