Photography Question

Interested Professional Schooling

Hi Yah all,

I'm Suzzy and I was wondering if anyone is going or has gone to the Hallmark Institute in Boston. I have heard it cost around $50,000 if you include schooling, materials and housing. But I also heard that the success rate is 86% and that those students already have high paying jobs within the first 3 month after graduation.

Thank you Suzzy

Your close on the cost, but you can sell your film equipment after you grad, not sure if they still make you buy the film camera. Anyway, 2yrs worth of photography crammed into 10months. The first 3months are the hardest, then its pretty much duck soup. You will be taught like a beginner no matter where you are in your learning process. They also teach you the business side of it so that when you grad you either are with a good studio or got your own thing going. It would be a good idea to get to boston early to make freinds cause you are going to need models for your projects.

They will help you find a place to rent, but don't plan on sleeping their to much or at all.

Just talked with one of the teachers and they are using 645AFD II with a LEAF-aptus 22 digital back. I will be on Campus around Christmas time if you would like, I could show you around.

Thanks Suzzy

3.5 LCD touch screen, pretty cool for a beginner which you must purchase for the course.
