Pixel Mapping

My D2x recently developed a few (5) hot pixels. I know that some hot pixels are considered normal, and Nikon facilities may or may not map the pixels depending on the severety. Does anyone have experience with sending their camera in to Nikon to have the pixels mapped out? Specifically, was the venture successful? How much did it cost? My camera is not under warranty but I'm willing to spend 'some' cash to get it corrected. Mine are pretty bad, you can see the hot pink pixels at exposures of 1/10 of a second, which according to all I've read, is worse than most. Also, I can see the hot pink pixels at about 50% zoom, and they can be seen when printed on either 8x10 and 13x19 prints! Help! What do I do with this expensive camera that gives me little pinkies with every shot? I forgot to mention, I'm a sharpness and quality freak, so I never use ISO higher than 100. Please, educate me on the process and your successes/failures with pixel mapping. Thanks.
