create a blurred image in an outdoor night setting Sorry guys but it looks like I am taking the easy way out. I would like to capture blurred, sometimes moving images in an outdoor night setting with the use of my tripod and without a flash. I need to know what is the best film, lens and setting to create this image. I intend to be fairly close (10'-30') to my subject. I am using a manual setting slr film camera. In the past I was able to create just the picture I envisioned but I did not document all that I used to create it. Thank you.

The easy way out? Then I'd do it with a digital cam, chimp, adjust until I had what I want. Then recreate it with the same settings on my film cam. Bracket for good measure.

Can you be more specific as to what subject and how fast it will be moving?
