Photography Question

dave

No camera's please

A long time shooter of mine recently told me that he had been requesting that no cameras be aloud at the ceremony. It was not originally his idea, a bride and groom at a small wedding of his had the bell service collect all the bags and cameras. He told them he didn't mind, but the bride and groom preferred not to have pictures over-exposed by multiple flashes or guests with their faces planted behind their cameras. My buddy enjoyed not having to dodge around a guest trying to get the same shot.
Now he even tells the guest if they are not in the picture to go to the reception. Guest like to hang around and take family pictures and romatics over your shoulder with their flash going off sometimes at the same time (guess what happens?).

The image level of Daves still has not risen since the last drop in points from the last thread.

better than someone who has to change his font to stand out and constantly change out stolen avitars. You have no points with most, they have just learned to deal with you.

That may be true for some others, but I quite enjoy Gregs comments.

  Stolen avatars?

Color change

DILI drops 3&1/2 points

Correction:Most do have points. Occasionally I'll send one to out to the corn field to accompany others that seem to be headed in that direction.

Maybe he thinks I'm responsible for his avatar turning up missing.

hey, avatars are no joking matter. I had mine stolen from a graphic design forum and used by a troll on another graphic design forum in Ireland. The avatar was a picture my five-year-old drew. The jerk was using my avatar and posting porn --- eventually was banned. But this caused all sorts of problems when I made mention of it. Yuck!

Don't mess with avatars!!!

And the saying "Me thinks thou doth protest too much" rings true.
Didn't have to right click. I would've gladly made one for you.

Thanks to all the hijackers. What was the purpose?

By "hijackers", do you mean your thread was hijacked?

Not really. Derek hijacked Gregory's avatar and claimed he found it on google.

it was to bring up what you think about telling guest no cameras, not " my image points."

Since he hijacked (changed the subject) I let it be know that his font has to stand out to get attention "which he already gets from his negative remarks" and he does steal avatars. And don't tell me he drew those old cartoons.

That's what you meant by stolen avatars? Land'a'goshin, that Twighlight zone kid would put you way out in the corn field for that.

Maybe Letterman had a good show tonight to bring the DILI back up.
