Using Canon 500D macro lens Hi Can some body tell me whether I can use Canon 500D Macro lens (screw-in filter) with Canon PowerShot S2 IS camera? Or should I go for normal Close-up filters (like +2/+4) Thanks in advance

Per the instruction manual, yes. With the LA-DC58E conversion lens adapter, a 58mm diameter 500D can be used. The 500D is a +2 close-up lens. The 250D is a +4.
