In this case, as you describe it, it's not the camera. It will be the set up.

Any camera, digitial or film, is probably acceptable. Am SLR will give you a bit more flexibilty.

But, it's the presentation that will be key. How the bottles arranged, what the lighting is, whether you're showing the labels for advertising purposes, etc.

My choice for food and wine is a Linhof Teknikardan 4x5 view camera with a Schneider 250mm lens, a bunch of 4x5 film holders and don't forget a Polaroid back for test shots. :>))
Regards.

Love it, Mark. But, you're a pro! And,did you forget that Ivan wants to download to a web site. Sort of implies he wants a digital camera.

Yeah, I know John, but for 4x5 film, I got one of these new Epson Perfection V-700 scanners. Man, I gotta say it's really really cool !!! Up to 600
DPI, software like PS element 3, SilverFast, copying, film, documents , prints, negs, chromes, and now make 100's of Julianne fries in just minutes...... ;>)

Take it light guys !!

If that Olympus C-4040Z can work with off-camera flash – either by cable or slave triggering – then you got all the camera you need for now, Ivan.
Check your manuals.

I checked the manual (C-4040Z was my first digital toe-dipper camera) and it does work with off-camera flash. The connector for the cable is on the left side.
Get that cable, a compatible flashgun, a tripod, and a D-I-Y reflector, and you're in business: you can do your testhots to find a good setup.
