Sigma DC lenses are designed for use with DSLRs with the "APS-C" sized sensors (15mm x 22.5mm and 15.6mm x 23.7mm). It will not project an image large enough to cover the 19.1mm x 28.7mm sensor of the 1D mk II.

Avoid Canon EF-S, Sigma DC, Tamron Di II, Tokina DX.
Recommended would be one of EF 17-40 f/4L USM, EF 16-35 f/2.8L USM, Sigma 15-30 f/3.5-4.5 EX DG, Sigma 17-35 f/2.8-4 EX DG HSM, Tamron 17-35 f/2.8-4 Di LD. For even wider-angle, Sigma 12-24 f/4.5-5.6 EX DG HSM, Sigma 14 f/2.8 EX HSM, EF 14 f/2.8L USM, Sigma 15 f/2.8 EX DG Diagonal Fisheye, EF 15 f/2.8 USM Fisheye.
