Photo Clarity
I don't know if it's only me, so I'm going to ask. When I get my photo's developed, I normally only use slide film, I have a picture CD made at the same time and down load my images into Picasa2 photo software. From there I do some simple color correction, etc. Then I down load some of these photo's to this web site into my gallary. When I do this the photos seam to lose alot of clarity and they also seam alot darker then when I few them on my computer screen. Do any of you have this problem or is it just me. Thanks Wayne

Hi Wayne, I've read lots of posts about this and there seems to be one consensus about the softness. Everyone has suggested that you reduce the size of your image before uploading. If you don't, then BP automatically resizes it smaller which may result in the softness. I usually just reduce mine to 72dpi and save as a .tif before uploading. This seems to have helped. Also, I find mine are generally lighter after uploading so I sometimes oversaturate the image before uploading. You seem to have the opposite problem though. I don't know the cause, but I'm guessing it's something to do with the available color gamut of the browser. That's a wild stab in the dark though! :)
