how to quote price for image use? i have been professional photographer for a while , but only just received my first request to use images I took at a recent london festival. One of the internatinla performing groups in the festival have just asked me for my pricing for rights usage. I HAVE NO IDEA price to ask, but firstly what question I should ask about how they intend to use to set price. I presume they will use the pics for promotion (maybe web use , in print) . Please if any one can offer any help at all that would be great, as they are expecting a reply from me this very soon. Thanks Nathan

thanks a lot. Wow there is so much in there . I have sold individual prints before ,but itsa very different story for image rights. I was going to reply to their email just asking in what media they would want use pictures, how many they want to use, what size they'll use them etc. (if nothing else that gives me a few more days to work out exactly what to charge!). is that the right thing to do , do you think? Thanks I really appreciate your advice> I am obviously worried about undercharging OR over charging and them ,then not being intersted!
