Aspen colors in Colorado I am planning a trip to Rocky Mountain National Park the week of October 1. Does anyone know if the aspen colors have changed or when the peak might be?

They are saying the peak should actually be within the next week to two weeks. We've had perfect weather for the colors to change lately, cool nights and warm(er) days. You should still be ok for photos then, and if you go towards evening, you can hear the Elk bugle. :)
